(1) Oil pillow: Its capacity is about 8-10% of the transformer oil. The function is: accommodating the transformer to change the volume of the transformer oil due to the change of temperature, limiting the contact between the transformer oil and the air, and reducing the degree of moisture and oxidation of the oil. A moisture absorber is installed on the oil pillow to prevent air from entering the transformer.

(2) Moisture absorber and oil purifier: The moisture absorber, also known as the respirator, is filled with an adsorbent inside. It is a silica gel type activated alumina, in which part of the color changing silica gel is often placed. When it changes from blue to red, it indicates that the adsorbent has been damp. Must be dried or replaced. The oil purifier is also called a filter. The net oil cylinder is filled with an adsorbent. It is a silica gel type activated alumina. When the oil passes through the oil purifier and the adsorbent, the water, acid and oxide are absorbed, and the oil is cleaned. Extend the life of the oil.

(3) Explosion-proof pipe (safe airway): The explosion-proof pipe is installed on the transformer box cover. When the internal fault occurs in the transformer, it prevents the high pressure release protection inside the fuel tank. Modern large transformers have adopted pressure relief valves instead of safety airways. When the fault pressure rises inside the transformer, the pressure release valve acts and turns on the contact alarm or trip. In addition, the transformer also has gas protection, safety devices such as thermometers and oil meters.
